Error: "Cannot find the file D:\setup.exe. Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available"

Solution1: Check your CD-ROM drive letter. To do this, double click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop. Look for the icon of your CD-ROM drive. The letter below it is the letter you need to use in your command line instead of D.

Solution2:  Make sure there are no misspellings and that there is no comma at the end of your command line.

Error: "Computer freezes at 0% when copying
Mviewer2.exe."

Check to see if you have Norton’s running on your computer. This program will occasionally conflict with other program installations and should be turned off before installing new software. To disable Norton’s, click on the START button. Choose PROGRAMS and click on NORTON UTILITIES. Then click on your SYSTEM DOCTOR. When the program comes up, choose close and “stop
monitoring system.” You can turn it back on once the program has been installed.

Error: When trying to run the program, an error message comes up saying, "Cannot find file…"

Solution1:  The particular file was not copied correctly to your Windows System folder. Open up Windows Explorer. On the left hand side, find your CD ROM drive. Double click to open. You should see a list of file on the right hand side. Find the one that matches your missing file. Click to highlight it. Now hit Ctrl C on the keyboard to copy it. Now scroll up to your C:\ drive. Find the Windows file on the C:\ drive. Click to open and find System folder. Highlight that folder and hit Ctrl V on keyboard to paste file. Now try to run your program again.

Solution2:  The files are hidden on your computer. To unhide them, open Windows Explorer. Choose View at the top of the screen.
Win 95
users: Scroll down to Options and click. Make sure “Show all files” option is chosen.
Win 98
: Choose Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Under Hidden Files, choose Show All Files.

Can I change the font size or type?

In the newest updates you can change font size. For some cds the only way to manipulate the text is to copy and paste it into your word processor (Word, Word Perfect, Word pad, Notepad, etc.) and work with it there.

When I try to copy some of the documents, the text in the box cuts off and I can’t read the end.

Some of the documents on the CD are longer than the space on the CDs clipboard. To get around this, simply open the document you wish to copy, hit Ctrl C on your keyboard, open your word processor (Word, Word Perfect, Word Pad, Notepad, etc.) and paste (Ctrl V). The entire document should be there for you to copy and manipulate.

The text is cut off and jumbled together.

Turn off your Adobe Type Manager (ATM). This will turn off any font substitutions and should solve the problem.

Are your discs compatible with OSX?

Not currently. You will need to have OS9 available on the same Mac in order to use any of our software. If you do have OS9 you should be able to just run the program as normal. You may have to start your computer up using OS9 in some cases.
